FTX Training Phase 04-26 - MOVEMENT & ACTIONS ON THE OBJECTIVE | 2IC STRESS TESTING / LEADERSHIP CONTINUITY | SOAR TRAINING — Training Operation: ENEMY EQUIPMENT DENIAL
Briefing
Starts on 7 Jun 2026 at 12:00 AM
Ends on 7 Jun 2026 at 3:30 AM
Location: Shoot Houses (Walk/Run) | Open Training Grounds (Crawl) — Training Operation: OBJ CLAVERSTON — Enemy Equipment Denial, Port Complex
INTENT
Move with fluidity and purpose. Every element flows to the objective, executes the task, and breaks contact off the OBJ in a smooth, stable manner — no hesitation, no clutter, no wasted motion. This phase builds the muscle memory for deliberate movement and tests leadership continuity under stress. We train it dry, we train it live, and we carry it forward into the FTX.
BLOCK 1 — MOVEMENT & ACTIONS ON THE OBJECTIVE
Move to the OBJ → do the job → get off the OBJ.
CRAWL — Instruction & Demonstration Cadre demonstrates the standard. Walk through the movement process: pace, spacing, posture, weapon discipline, and the deliberate transition from movement to work to withdrawal. Once the example is shown, we set up a course using three points across different environments to reinforce reading terrain and adjusting movement to match it.
WALK — Dry Fire Run the exercise dry. Movement begins in an open area, transitions into a CQC/MOUT environment (Shoot Houses), actions on the OBJ, then a clean exit. Focus is on smoothness and stability, not speed. Fix the flow before adding pressure.
RUN — Live Fire Same course, live fire against targets. Movement standard carries over — fluid, purposeful, stable. If it broke down dry, it does not go live until corrected.
BLOCK 2 — 2IC STRESS TESTING / LEADERSHIP CONTINUITY
Awareness is constant. You track whether leadership is up. If it goes down, you step up fast, make decisions, and issue orders in time to keep the mission moving.
CRAWL — Verification & Process Verify nets are up and confirm the 2IC step-up process. Walk through the mindset: control the situation, control casualties, continue the mission. Establish what "stepping up" looks like before we pressure-test it.
WALK — Simulated Leadership Down Simulate leadership down. 2IC executes proper setup, takes control, and drives the element forward without losing tempo.
RUN — Live Application Conducted during the FTX. Leadership continuity is tested under real operational load on OBJ CLAVERSTON.
BLOCK 3 — SOAR
160th SOAR element conducts flight training in support of FTX insertion/extraction and movement requirements.
OBJECTIVE BRIEF — OBJ CLAVERSTON
Enemy equipment denial mission at the port complex. The FTX serves as the live integration of everything trained in this phase — deliberate movement to the OBJ, actions on target, clean withdrawal, and leadership continuity under stress.
