I'm interested in learning and practicing small-unit tactics and CQB, and participating in complex SOF missions with a big team. I've watched videos and done research on a few different milsim units and was very impressed with Bronze Squadron's systems for creating and maintaining authenticity. Particularly how you train and make use of Air Force Special Tactics personnel for things like ISR.
Previous milsim / military / gaming experience?
I did 4 years in the Navy as an IT. I've always had an interest in special operations, and was looking at applying to the Joint Communications Unit or requesting a support staff billet at DEVGRU as my next duty station, but decided to get out and go to college instead. I'm a pretty avid gamer and fan of shooters, but the largest and most organized units I've ever been in were in Planetside 2, which wasn't really milsim. I've participated in an irl Milsim West event with hundreds of players and really enjoyed it, but events like that are expensive and aren't in my area very often.
